![]() Born in South Africa, a country with a geography and climate much like California, Peter spent his early years watching and participating in his family business. This early experience has helped Peter identify a passion for business and an entrepreneurial spirit that he continues to this day. Peter is married and the father of two wonderful children. Peter came to the United States in 1981 at the age of 18 to attend San Diego State University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. Upon his graduation in 1985, Peter came to Los Angeles and joined the Laventhol & Horwath accounting firm where he obtained his CPA. In 1990, Peter joined Superba, Inc. the world largest neckwear company at CFO. At the end of 2000 he left Superba to manage Capital for a brief period before joining Imperial Toy as its CFO in September 2001. In 2004 Peter was appointed Co-President with Art Hirsch. During this time Little Tikes, the first of the major license acquisitions that have been instrumental in driving the company's growth in core categories was signed. In December 2005 Peter and Art purchased the company. Peter's passion is hiring, nurturing and coaching Imperial Toy employees. People, product and process are his mantra. Peter feels you have to "love what you do" and do what ever it takes to insure the customer is happy and satisfied with their purchase.
